Woke up early and ready for our ferry to Calais. We were so surprised on how big the ferry is and how much cool facilities they have there. Game room - we obviously had to try it. Overall very enjoyable ride.
When we arrived in Calais, we went straight to Arras, except for a quick stop in roadside aire for lunch, which Fabio cooked when we were still at home. I am so thankful for that, as it's so nice to have something ready to eat when we travel.
After few hours drive we arrived in Arras. Seemed like a very quiet town, until we found the main town squares, where all the people were gathering for France - Switzerland game.
It was a big surprise when we realized that nothing is open at 14.30. Not even one shop. But then again it was Sunday. We only found one gas station which had a small shop, which didn't have much in it, but at least we got some water.
After dinner we went for a beer in town and tried a little beer tasting.
Not much to say about Arras, as pretty much everything was closed, but we still enjoyed the day with warmer weather and lesser troubles. :)
Yea the French don't like to work much at all :-) expect that everywhere you go xx sounds like you are having a great time xx
